The ceremony to mark the first working day of the year – 2022 was held under the patronage of District Secretary Mr. P.A.Sarathchandra on 03rd January 2022 at the District Secretariat's premises along with the presence of Additional District Secretary , Staff Grade Officers and Staff of District Secretariat at 8.30 am at the New Auditorium.
District Secretary Mr. P.A.Sarathchandra hoisted the national flag and the national anthem was played.
There after oath-taking event was held.
Mr. P.A.Sarathchandra, District Secretaryread over the oath in Sinhala medium as well as Tamil medium oath read out by Mr. T.Thireskumar, Additional District Secretary.
It was followed by the participants.
